Exceptional felt hat from the late 1930s or early 1940s.
Made from warm red felt, it is close fitting designed to be worn on one side, has a sweeping crown and is trimmed with a red grosgrain bang which ties in the front in a bow. It has a really deep crown which has lovely shaping in the back. No makers label but there is a size label showing 23.
A perfect hat for your autumn wardrobe.

Condition
Good with a few issues to note;
- slight makeup mark on the inner
- there is a 4mm moth hole just under the grosgrain band on the right hand side of the hat
- there is some moth grazing on the back - see photos
- on the underside of the brim, there are areas which look lighter in certain lights - see photo - but these aren't seen when worn
