This is an utterly charming little felt hat.
Made in the 1930s from black felt, this skull cap has been embroidered with flowers worked in brightly coloured wool. A lovely little piece that appears to be handmade, it would look great with a Tyrolean style embroidered knit.
Measurements
It sits on the back of your head and the inner band is 21”
Condition
Good with some points to note;
- there are a few flowers which have damage - see photos.
- the flowers would have originally been brighter, as can be seen from the underside
- there are two small repairs.
