A truly spectacular piece, this 1930s evening dress is perfect for dancing!

Made from fine black lace in a foliate design it has a simple bodice with no shaping at all, there is a full skirted section which has been attached just above the knee in a zig zag design. The skirt has a hem of over 10ft which means this piece kicks out as you walk and looks wonderful when worn for a dance. It needs to be worn with a slip which isn't included in the sale.

 

Measurements

It isn't meant to be skin tight. It has no side openings so you need to be able to shimmy into it. There is a degree of stretch which makes getting into it a little easier but really is is best suited for up to a 35-28-36 (max). To ensure that this will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar item you already own;

- flat bust 15" stretching to 17.5"

- flat waist 14" stretching to 15"

- flat hip 15" stretching to 18" max

- shoulder to hem 52" 

 

Condition

Good with some small repairs to the skirt section. Because of the fullness these are all lost in the skirted section.
