Beautiful original 1930s black straw hat.
An iconic shape of the era, it is labelled "A VYCO HAT" and is designed to fit fully on your head and tilted to one side. A wonderful deep crown and a sweeping brim, it is trimmed with a wide black grosgrain ribbon and has a black and white celluloid decoration in the front..

Condition
Very good with minor points to note;
- there are some minor scuffs on the grosgrain ribbon
- the inner ribbon band is slightly scruffy, but this isn't seen when worn
- there is an area of wear in the straw where someone has used a hatpin
