This stunning dress was made in the late 1940's or early 1950's.
Made by Horrockses, it is made from crisp cotton in purple and white stripes with fine black accent detail. A classic button through day dress of the time, it has a smooth fitting bodice and smart collar and turn back cuffs. With a broadly pleated skirt, it has a good amount of fullness in the skirt which means it swishes as you walk!
A gorgeous dress, by an iconic brand, which is just perfect for the summer.
