Glorious inky black "box" bag from the 1940s.
Made in America and labelled "Ingber", the bag is a beautiful shape with a curved metal frame in vibrant gold-tone. Single handle, but split into two for decorative purposes, it is covered with fine, gathered grosgrain which gives the bag a wonderful texture.
The inner has two large compartments, a central zip pouch, a pocket with a ruched edge and a lipstick and mirror pocket, both with gold trim. A good size to carry all of your essentials, it even has a tiny matching coin purse.
Measurements
Length across the bottom 8.5"

Condition
Very good. It looks like it wasn't used much as it is in exceptional condition. The only very minor points to note are;

- some slight tarnish on the frame - see photos
- the gold trim on the inner is slightly worn
