This is such a charming little hat. Made in the 1940s from inky black felt, it is a "topper" hat designed to sit on the front of your head and to one side. There are felt bands at the back, joined together with a black satin ribbon, to help keep the hat on your head and it has two pieces of wide grosgrain ribbon at the back for decoration. Trimmed with light brown faux fur - the perfect hat for autumn!

Condition
Very good. The only minor points to note are;
- I don't think the satin is original to the hat
- there are a couple of small areas of wear to the grosgrain ribbons at the back
