This coat is utterly fabulous!
American made in the 1940s, it is labelled Shagmoor and is made of a beautifully thick sage green wool. A quality piece, it is fully lined with green satin and has a thick real fur trim. An edge to edge design, it fastens with two fur hooks and cuts a fabulous 1940s silhouette.
Measurements
This has been tried on a 41" bust and although it fastens it is a little snug and will therefore best fit a 38"/40" bust, depending on what you're going to wear underneath. The measurements have all been taken on the outside of the coat. To ensure it will fit you, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own.
Flat bust 21"
Shoulders between sleeves 16"
Neck to hem 42"
Underarm sleeve length 16"
Condition
Very good with some very minor points to note;
- there is a 3mm moth graze on the back of the coat near the collar
- there are two faint marks on the back of the coat. One is on the back left side and the other is under the left arm. The marks meet so it looks like a previous wearer has leant on something
- it smells of perfume. It did smell very strongly of perfume when I first got it but it has been aired well and the smell is dissipating
