This is a really pretty dress.
Made in the 1940s, it is made from dark navy base with a geometric print in red and white. It looks to be a home sewn piece and it features a fitted bodice and quite a full, pleated skirt. It fastens down the side with a metal zip. Belt loops but no belt.
Measurements
The bodice is gathered at the bust and isn't meant to be close fitting. It will best fit up to a 36-28-38 but would work well on smaller and would look great belted. However, to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar item you already own.
