This piece has been entirely hand knitted from a wartime 1940s knitting pattern.
A beautiful design featuring chevron stripes on the sleeves and yokes, it fastens with 10 little crochet buttons worked in the contrast wool. It would look fabulous with high waisted trousers.
Worked in Cascade 220 Fingering, which is a really fine pure wool, in Burgundy and Tempest it is an authentic reproduction of a wartime knit.
Please note that the knit has been heavily pinned to the mannequin.
This will fit a 34"-36" maximum. Any larger than that and the button placket will gape. To ensure it will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar garment you already own;
