This piece has been entirely hand knitted from a mid 1940s knitting pattern.
A wonderful bright stripe design it fastens at the back neck with three 1940s plastic buttons. It would look fabulous with high waisted trousers.
Worked in Cascade 220 Fingering, which is a really fine pure wool, in Beige, Cerise, Lavendula, Lemon, Primavera and Purple Hyacinth.
Please note that the knit has been heavily pinned to the mannequin.
Measurements
The smallest bust size this will fit is 39" but the design is meant to be close fitting and this will work best on a 40" up to a 42". However, to ensure it will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar garment you already own;
