This jacket is wonderful and the colours are so vibrant.
Made in the 1940's from medium weight wool, it has a bold check design in blue, green, yellow, burgundy and red.
A classic shape of the era it has broad shoulders, an edge to edge design, neat tailoring, pockets and is fully lined.
Measurements
It is not meant to be super close fitting and will best fit up to a 42" bust. However, to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition
Very good on the exterior with some minor points to note about the lining;
- underarm lining repairs
- some discolouration in the lining
- a small repair on the left lining sleeve edge
- repair to the lining at the bottom of the jacket
- some slight wear to the left sleeve edge - see photo
None of the lining issues are seen when worn and this jacket is still utterly spectacular.
