Made in the 1940's and labelled British Made, this fabulous set consisting of a suede bag with neat gloves are the perfect finishing touch to your vintage outfit.
The bag has a single handle, gone-tone frame and clasp, is fully lined, has a single inside pocket and an inner coin section and the gloves have top seaming and a little vent on the wrist.
Rare to still find these pieces together, they are made from soft suede in a light burgundy shade.
Measurements
The bag is 6.25" across the top, 9" across the base and is 7" high from the frame to the base or 10.5" including the handle.
The gloves will fit a size 6.5 and are 8.5" from the top of the middle finger to the opening, the middle finger is 3.25" long and the gloves are 3" across the back of the hand.
Condition
Good with some points to note;
- there gloves have a few marks, as happens with suede
- there is a 2" repair on the inner end of the right glove
- the bag shows wear and tarnish on all the metalwork - see photos
- there are some marks and spots on the suede, as so often happens - see photos
- the label is frayed
