This exquisite bag was made in the 1920's or 1930's. The colours are as rich and vibrant as the day it was made.
Made from black fabric it features a bold embroidery working in silk threads. The main colour is rich gold with accents in jewel tones of magenta, jade, red and blue.
The inner is fully lined and has a ruched side pocket, original mirror (note condition) and a coin section with the two tone inner. There is a pull tab on the front used to help open the bag and it is leather lined on the reverse.
It is the perfect bag for an evening dance.

Very good with minor points to note;
- any exposed metal, so the clasp, the frame, the fixings for the handle, are all tarnished - see photos
- a tiny area of wear to the underside of the handle
