This dress is just perfect for the summer!
Made in the 1940s by Swirl, it is a wraparound style which has a crossover back and neat tie belt. It is made from medium weight white cotton with a pretty floral print in blue, green and grey. Beautiful detailing with two large patch pockets with pin tuck detail, the same pin tucks are replicated on the yoke panel and shirring above the pockets.
Measurements
Bust will fit up to a 36"
Waist will work on up to a 28" but can go slightly smaller
Hips - 40"
Shoulders between sleeves 15"
Shoulder to waist 15.5"
Shoulder to hem 42.5"
Condition
Beautiful. The only very minor points to note are;
- a very faint pinhead mark beside the left pocket
- incredibly minor underarm discolouration
- a pinhead sized self mark on the skirt
- belt loops but no belt
