1940s CC41 crepe smock. Beautiful floral design with a neat pocket on the left front. Wonderful floppy crepe with button front and poppers on the sleeves. It's a short length smock which means it can be tucked in to trousers or a skirt and worn as a blouse, but looks beautiful untucked, as it was designed to be worn.
Due to the blousy shape it will fit a variety of sizes, but best to go by the shoulder width to ensure it will fit.
Measurements
Flat bust 22”
Length 24”
Shoulders between sleeves 13”
Underarm sleeve length 16.5”
Condition
Good with some issues to note.
Structurally good, strong and still lots of wear. However, please note;
-poppers on sleeve ends rather than buttons and the buttonholes which were there have been sewn up
- some slight fade
- some rust marks. Most are lost within the print but there are a couple of really noticeable ones mainly on the pocket point, cuffs and back of the sleeve
