A charming, and iconic, cotton floral house dress from the 1940s.
This piece was originally designed to be worn over a dress to protect the clothes when housework was being done. However, it makes a perfect day dress and is far too good to only be worn in the home.
Made from floppy cotton in a bold floral print, it is button through and has its original belt. A fitted bodice and a panelled skirt, it has a smart collar and a practical patch pocket on the right skirt.
Please note the colour is truest in the close up of the fabric.
