This piece was made in the 1930's. Simple in design, it is a classic example of an everyday coat. Made from lightweight wool with a diagonal self stripe, it is fully lined. Double breasted, patch pockets pleated shoulder sleeve head and neat lapels, it is a great wardrobe staple for the vintage enthusiast.

Condition
Fair. This piece is not in perfect condition. It is great for a re-enactor or someone who loves to wear vintage everyday and doesn't mind flaws. If you are looking for perfect, this piece will not be for you. Points to note;
- odd marks on the inner lapels on both sides - not sure what the marks are, possibly old labels as this piece was used as a costume in a Norfolk theatre for a number of years
- a mark on the right lapel
- darns on the inner collar
- darn on the lapel
- scattering of darns in the hem at the back
- wear to the lining
