This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original late 1930's Bestway knitting pattern.
A beautiful design it features long sleeves in broad rib with a smocked front and smart hood. It has a chocolate brown crochet edge and fastens with novelty hat buttons from the 1930’s/1940’s.
Worked in Artesano Alpaca 4ply, which is a wonderfully soft and warm pure wool, in a shade called Corn Dolly, it is an authentic reproduction of an original 1930's knit.
Measurements
This piece will fit a 34"-35" bust but to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below with a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 16" stretching to 17.5" - if you stretch it any further it will gape
Flat waist 13" stretching to 15"
Shoulders between sleeves 15”
