This piece has been made from an original wartime pattern from 1941.
It features a collection of leaves in Christmas Red, Marine, Crocus, Cornflower Blue and Leaf Green which have been embroidered with Romanian stitch and appliqued onto a 5mm thick band of black wool felt.
The centre "buckle" is made up of over 50 tiny three dimensional flowers which have been stitched onto a padded base of felt.
The belt fastens with two large hooks and eyes.
Made from 100% wool felt, it is an authentic reproduction of a wartime belt.

The central piece is 3" approximately in diameter
Belt width at widest part 1.5"
Hook to hook, the belt measures 29.5" and will best fit up to a 29" waist. However, depending on the thickness of the garment you are going to wear the belt over, it could work on a smaller waist if the garment you plan to wear it over is bulky.
