Original 1930s or 1940s necklace.
These necklaces were popular in the mid 20th century as tourist pieces brought back from holiday. Made from carved bovine bone, it has tiny 2mm beads with a carved bone clasp and a carved rose pendant. You can find this design in earrings and brooches, too.
Measurements
The rose is 1 1/4" long and 3/4" wide.
The necklace itself is 16 1/4"
Condition
Very good, just a scrape in the back of the rose - probably done when originally made - see photo
