Beautiful 1940s Bakelite bracelet.
Lovely piece which is made from cherry red Bakelite in alternating bands of solid and translucent tiles. Fastens with a "buckle" and has fastenings at two different lengths. Has been re-strung on new elastic so is nice and secure. Great gift for a vintage lover or just as a gift to yourself.
Measurements
Weighs in at just over 30g. Width 7/8th" and total length of the bracelet is 9 1/2". The bracelet fastens at 7" or 7 5/8th"
Condition
Good with some minor points to note;
- the top of the prong has snapped off. The bracelet still fastens and secures perfectly well when on a wrist - see photo
- minor scuffs to some of the tiles - see photos
- has been re-strung
