This is a really beautiful hat.
American made in the 1940s, it is labelled Pasadena hats. Made from midnight blue fur felt, it is quite a versatile piece and can be worn on the back of your head to frame your face, or can be worn tilted to either side. On the back there is a circular section of grosgrain which has two 20" long pieces of jersey which can hang from the back or be swept around your neck, as shown in the photos.

Condition
The hat is in beautiful condition with no points to note but if you take a look at the photo showing the back of the hat you'll see that there are a number of small holes in the jersey scarfs.
