This 1940s apron was originally designed to be worn over your normal clothes and protect them while you're doing chores. However, the vibrant print, and cool cotton fabric, make it the perfect summer dress. Note the armholes are quite low so you may, or may not, want to wear something under it.
A charming print of blue leaves and stylised pale blue flowers on a white background.
It goes on over your head and then has a tie back belt to cinch in the waist, there are two patch pockets and it is bound around the armholes and neck edge with blue cotton binding. It has the CC41 label in the back of the neck.
