This 1940s apron was originally designed to be worn over your normal clothes and protect them while you're doing chores. However, the vibrant print, and cool cotton fabric, make it the perfect summer dress. Note the armholes are quite low so you may, or may not, want to wear something under it.
Charming print in greens and blues with flowers on a white background.
It goes on over your head and then has a tie back belt to cinch in the waist, there is a patch pocket and it is bound around the armholes and neck edge with green cotton binding.
Shown on a 36" mannequin. To ensure this will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar garment you already own.
Flat bust 20"
Flat waist 20"
Flat hip 22"
Edge to edge across the shoulders 14.5"
Shoulder to waist 15.5"
Shoulder to hem 39" plus there is a 1.5" hem available to let down
Very good condition. The only point to note is very minor wear on the binding. It has been washed, pressed and is ready to wear.
