This is a wonderful scarf in muted tones of red, white, blue & yellow.
Made in 1953 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, it is made from crepe and features the royal coat of arms, the coronation procession and The Coronation Chair.
A busy design with such beautiful artwork, it is surrounded by a border of soft blue.
Very good with some points to note;
- when held up to the light there are three pinhead holes
- there are approximately 13 pinhead dark marks scattered over the piece, some fainter/darker than others
- there is some faint yellowing on the white section of the piece. You can see from the close up photos that these marks are only seen on close inspection
It will be boxed and sent via a signed for method of post.
