This is an utterly charming little hat.
Made in the 1930's, it has a very close fitting crown with a little upturned brim. It is made from black straw, which is slightly coarse and has a lovely texture. It is trimmed with a pleated grosgrain band and has a little cluster of cherries on the right hand side.
The perfect finishing touch to your vintage outfit.

Condition
Good with one point to note;
- in the back of the hat, on the inside, there is a fabric patch and on the outside of the hat where the patch is, the straw is slightly coarse. If looks like the straw has been damaged due to a hat pin being used multiple times. The repair is strong and the hat is in otherwise lovely condition but I don't recommend you use a hatpin in the same spot.
