This fabulous dress was made in the 1930's and is labelled Dorothy's of Tulsa.
Made from lightweight wool in inky black, it features slim fitting sleeves, which have zips on each end, bid shoulder pads to give you the iconic shape of the late 1930's, tucked bodice and waist detail which fan out into a sunburst design and a deep plunging neckline.
Originally the piece would have been most likely worn with a modesty panel but you could easily add a panel of lace or with some strategically positioned tape you could wear this dress as is.
Please note the colour is inky black. I have lightened some of the photos to show the detail and this appears to have slightly distorted the colour, but there are no colour issues in real life.
