This is a really beautiful summer hat.
Made in the 1940s and labelled Nannette Chapeau, it is made from fine straw in a rich chocolate brown shade.
Quite a shallow crown, which is trimmed with brown grosgrain tied in a neat bow in the back, the brim slopes down at the edges. There is an elastic to help keep it in place.
Measurements
No size label and it isn't meant to fit fully on your head, instead it sits on a small section of your head and works on up to a 23" head.

Condition
Very good with a couple of small points to note;
- there are some small grazes to the grosgrain where I'm assuming someone has used a hat pin
- there is very slight colour variation on the brim around the last 3"
- some very minor marks on the inner band - not seen when worn
