This blouse has been made from an original 1940s wartime pattern using a 1940s feed sack from the USA.
Lovely soft cotton fabric in off-white with a beautiful print of grey and turquoise splodges with bold green leaves and large purple roses. The blouse has puffed sleeves, a neat little spearpoint collar, dropped yoke, gathered bodice and is finished with tiny original 1940s glass plastic buttons.
- there are a few scattered rust marks, about a pinhole in size. The fabric has been soaked in Retro Clean and the marks didn't lift so they are there to stay.
- there is a 10mm darn on the right bodice, just above the waist
- there is a 15mm by 20mm patch on the right sleeve
- there is a 25mm by 35mm patch on the left sleeve
