Made in the late 1930s or early 1940s and labelled "A Sandore Hat" this is a beautifully shaped piece.
Made from chocolate brown felt it has a very slight fluffy texture to the nap. It is designed to sit fully on your head and tilted slightly to the side, has a little upturned brim, is trimmed with a band of felt and has a plume of female pheasant feathers. It is a very stylish hat.
Measurements
It needs to fit fully on your head and will fit up to a 22" head.
Width 10"

Condition
Very good with some minor points to note;
- a few feathers are a little tatty on the edges
- there are some moth grazes on the some areas of the upper "fuzzy" nap. They are tracks and don't go deep into the felt and aren't holes - please see photos
