This is a really charming little brooch.
Very much a Make Do and Mend piece, it was common for ladies to make their own jewellery during WW2 as a way to brighten up a tired frock.
This one is made from plastic thread which has been wound around a metal curtain ring and fastened to a 1930s/1940s tie pin and finished with a button with a cameo in the centre.

Very good, just shows very minor wear on the front.
