This charming little pendant was most likely made in the 1930s or 1940s. This style of carved jewellery, often featuring edelweiss or alpine flowers, was popular during the 30s and 40s and was often purchased as a tourist piece.
This piece features a single daisy flower head which has been finely carved with lots of petals and a pretty painted middle. Beautifully carved and just needs to be threaded onto a necklace or piece or thread.
