This charming little brooch was most likely made in the 1930s or 1940s. This style of carved jewellery, often featuring edelweiss or alpine flowers, was popular during the 30s and 40s and was often purchased as a tourist piece.
This piece features a circlet of 6 carved edelweiss in cream with blue/grey painted middles. Beautifully carved and would look great on any lapel or knit but is also small enough to wear at the closed neck of a blouse.

Very good, no chips, just shows minor signs of wear and some minimal paint loss in the middles.
