This bright and colourful day dress was made in the 1940's.
A home-sewn piece, it has been made from medium weight cotton in a green, purple, yellow and blue floral stripe print.
Featuring a button bodice, neat collar, ric-rac trim and an elasticated waist it is a great dress for summer.
Measurements
This piece will fit up to a 38" bust and 32" waist but to ensure it will fir you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 20"
Flat waist 15" stretching to 18"
Flat hips 23.5"
Shoulder to waist 14" to the top of the elasticated section or 16" into the middle of the section
Shoulder to hem 48"
Condition
The elastic in the middle has been replaced because the original elastic had perished slightly and wasn't very stretchy.
