This pretty little dress was made in the 1930's or 1940's.
A home made piece, it is made from medium weight cotton, which feels like feed sack fabric. It has a close fitting bodice with a square neckline and a cluster of gathers on each side of the waist. The skirt is simple in design and the dress has a popper opening on the left side.

Very good. Has been washed, pressed and is ready to wear with the following minor point to note;
- as a home sewn piece there are a few areas which could have been done better and when you look closely the colour of the threads used for the seams is a little mismatched and is pink in places!
