This pretty cotton day dress was made in the 1950's.
Made from medium weight cotton, it has a herringbone print in the design. The button front bodice fastens with black plastic buttons and the sleeves and wide neckline have scalloped edges. The skirt is wonderfully full and would work well with a full petticoat and the dress fastens with a zip on the left side.

Condition
It still has lots of life left it in but it is looking a little tired with the following points to note;
- a small patched mend at the top of the zip
- a few self marks
- a mark on the hem and a few on the back skirt, but because the skirt is so full they are lost within the fullness
