This pretty little day dress was made in the 1950's and is a great wardrobe staple.
Made from lightweight fine cotton it has a teeny gingham check in yellow and white. The fabric has stripes of faggoting, meaning you'll need to wear a slip under this piece, and the bodice fastens with teeny pearlised glass buttons. With neat collar and cuffs, it has vertical tucks on the bodice and a pleated skirt.
It would look great belted and is perfect for the summer.
