This little black dress was made in the 1940's and is labelled 'Eve Carver Original'.
Made from crepe it has long sleeves with popper cuffs, has a patch pocket on the left bodice, has a neat collar and fastens with gold coloured metal buttons. The 14 panelled skirt has great swing and it fastens with a metal side zip.
A timeless classic, great for any vintage lover.

Condition
Pressed and ready to wear but please note there is a small tear on the top of one shoulder and rather than darn it, someone has instead patched it. So it didn't look weird, they also patched the other shoulder! Patches could be removed and it could be more neatly repaired but still very wearable.
