Wonderful piece of original crepe dressmaking fabric from the 1930's or 1940's.

A deep rust red there is a fine stripe to the fabric and then a polka dot design. The dots are not woven into the fabric or printed, they are almost glued and are slightly raised.

A beautiful drape to the fabric and slight sheen, it will make an amazing dress.

The colour is truest in the photo with the tape measure.

New, unwashed, only ever stored but there is a slightly odd smell to the piece, which I'm guessing is from the spots.
