This fabulous hat was made in the 1930's by Lowe and Moorhouse Ltd, Newcastle-on-Tyne.

It features a close fitting seamed cap which is designed to sit low on your head and works well tilted to either side. It is trimmed with soft ostrich feathers in black and cobalt blue.


Measurements

This piece has to sit fully on your head and will fit a maximum 21" head or better on slightly smaller if you have thick hair. To ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Inner band 21"

From front to back running along the inner seam around the curve of the piece 13"

 

Condition

Good with some points to note;

- some discolouration on the inner band - not seen when worn

- some light wear to the feathers
