This jacket was made in the 1950's and was originally part of a WRVS skirt suit.
Made from smooth weave pure wool it is a single breasted design, fastening with three large buttons, has a back belt detail and two patch pockets, which also fasten with buttons. It has a smart collar and is finished off perfectly with the distinctive cherry red lining associated with the service.
A fabulous jacket in a wonderful shade.
