This little cocktail dress is a home-sewn piece from the late 1950's or early 1960's.
Made from forest green wool and fully lined in the body of the piece - the sleeves are unlined - it fastens down the back with a long metal zip. The top part of the bodice is covered with paste studs in varying sizes, and the entire piece has a scattering of the smallest sized studs. The paste studs are faceted and catch the light giving the dress a wonderful sparkle.
The perfect festive frock!
