This is a fabulous little piece.
Made in the 1940s, it appears to be a home sewn piece. It is a little topper hat which is designed to sit on the right side of your head, tilted to one side, but not to fit fully on your head. It is made from dark brown velvet and has two bands of mustard velvet trim. It is lined with fine black silk.

It is a small piece and will work on up to a 21" head.

Condition
Very good. Although it appears home made, it is a well made piece. The only very minor points to note is;
- there is a 1" tear in the fine silk lining - not seen when worn
