This hat is utterly fabulous in a bold combination of purple and pink.
Made in the 1940's, it is made from cotton velvet. The purple section is made up of 4 segments and the pink is entirely seamed, as is the brim. It is trimmed in the back with a long pink tassel and looks absolutely wonderful on.
A really fabulous example of a 1940's hat in two hard to find shades.

Condition
Very good with some minor points to note;
- on the pink section of the hat at the back, there are a number of faint marks
- there is a pinhead dark mark in the back of the hat on the pink
- minor discolouration on the inner headband
- some slight wear to one of the tassel edges
