This piece was made in the 1940's and is labelled 'Bernice Charles'.
Made from grey felt it is a classic shaped piece from the early 1940's and is a topper style, designed to fit perched on the top of your head and tilted to the right side. It features a back felt band, to help keep the hat in place and is trimmed with black beading.

Condition
The felt is in good condition and only shows minor wear. Point to note is that some of the beading is shedding if you shake it vigorously so you might end up leaving a trail of beads as you go!
