This is a beautiful example of an original vintage hat.

Made in the late 1930s or early 1940s, this piece has a wonderful shape to it with a deep crown in the front, which narrows in the back and a sweeping brim. It is trimmed with broad bands of grosgrain which are pinned in place and has a pretty pink floral trim in the front. The straw is inky black and quite coarse, giving a lovely texture to the hat.
