This stunning hat was made in the 1950's and is labelled New York Creation Vandervoorts French Room.
A very close fitting design, it is meant to sit low on your head, tilted to the right. Made from warm brown felt it has metallic bronze beads all over.
It has been hard to capture the beauty of this piece but it is so much better in real life than the photographs show.

Condition
Good. Note there is some discolouration on the inner band and there are a few small areas of bead loss, but this is only seen on close inspection. All the remaining beads are firmly in place.
