This hat is truly stunning.
Made in the 1940's and labelled Jonquil it is made from coarse black straw.
A neat crown with a huge sweeping brim, the piece is trimmed with wide grosgrain in a soft grey.
Can be worn on the back of your head or also works well tilted to either side. There is an elastic to help keep it in place but you might want to also secure it with a hat pin.
Measurements
Designed to sit on top of your head rather than fully on, it is labelled to fit a 22" head.

Condition
Very good with some minor points to note:
- there are a few small marks on the inner band
- the most minor colour variation on the surface
- two small breaks in the straw when held up to the light
