This is an adorable little brooch.
Made in the 1940's, this popular Make Do and Mend brooch is made of a small metal ring which has green and white lastic thonging crocheted on it. Fixed to a collar bar, the centre decoration is a large green button.
A really pretty example which would look great on any lapel.
